Running coax from radio to antenna

The old VHF coax connection at the base of the arch on my Formula looks like it's seen one too many seasons, I realized when I tried cleaning it up, I guess I didn't catch during inspection when I was about buying the boat, I got a used one last year, I'm planning to run new coax from the radio up to the antenna, but the access isn't exactly generous and I'd like to avoid tearing into too much if I don't have to, anyone can help?, would really appreciate

Yeah tight spaces on boats can be a pain and if you're lucky, you might be able to fish new coax through using the old one as a pull

@snapdog gosh, used boats always hide a few secrets, right? haha. I agree on replacing that coax now.
For tight spots, a good fiberglass fish tape is your best friend. If you can attach the new cable to the old one and pull it through, that's usually the easiest

It's wild how many used boats pass inspection with corroded VHF wiring, something that's critical for safety. For a Formula, you'd expect better layout for service access too..I mean, replacing coax shouldn't feel like a full rebuild.
