Im dealing with a TVM drive failure, anyone got an easy fix? DIY as much as possible
When you say checking boards for burn marks or bulging caps , are there any common spots on the TVM where these failures usually show up first, or is it pretty random?Depends on the failure, TVM drives often blow caps or IGBTs. If you're DIY-ing, start by checking fuses, connections, and boards for burn marks or bulging caps. Past that, you'll need schematics and good electronics skills.
Good tip, thanks! Is there a specific reservoir or line on the TVM thats most prone to leaking, or should i just give the whole module a careful once-over?Dang. I mean... if it is the Thrust Vectoring Module, you might want to check for any fluid leaks or loose electrical connections first. Sometimes just cleaning and reseating the connectors can get it running again. Try try try. You won't lose anything with that.![]()
